Apex Steel Designs is a structural steel detailing company built for fabricators who are tired of chasing answers. You get a US-based project manager who knows your job, backed by an experienced global production team that works while you sleep.
Who we are
A new company with a track record since 2008
Apex Steel Designs builds on a track record in structural steel detailing that goes back to 2008, through our sister company, AFF. We bring that same team, process, and quality to a company built around one idea: fabricators deserve a detailing partner who is accurate, fast, and easy to talk to.
Our project managers are based in Dallas, Texas. Our production teams work across India, the Philippines, and Singapore, which means detailing and revisions move forward overnight and your questions get answered during your business day. We’ve grown steadily and organically since 2008, driven by repeat clients and referrals, and our team has exhibited at AISC’s NASCC: The Steel Conference.

How we keep quality high
Checked in the model and on paper
Every model and drawing is reviewed by an independent checker — in the model and on paper. We keep check prints until the project is erected and make them available on request.
Our work follows AISC, NISD, SJI, AWS, IBC, and OSHA standards and your shop standards, captured at kick-off. Connection design is done in-house, with stamped and sealed calculations by engineers registered in all 50 states.
